Eighteen teams from six major regions will compete for a $500,000 prize pool and, most importantly, DPC Points. To directly qualify for The International 2023, teams must have sufficient DPC Points, and the Bali Major will be the last Dota 2 tournament to distribute them. Many fans will provide their Dota 2 predictions throughout the Bali Major, as the DPC Points distribution makes the tournament crucial for teams looking to participate in The International.
Six of eighteen teams will immediately be eliminated by the conclusion of the group stage, so fans can expect to see a total bloodbath at the first stage of the tournament already.
